Who this policy covers

This policy explains what happens to your personal information when you visit vszn.uk, place an order, or contact us. It applies to this website only. If you follow a link away from here, the site you land on has its own policy and we have no control over it.

Trading details. Vszn trades from the United Kingdom and can be reached at admin@vszn.uk. Our full trading name and registered address are being added to this page; until then, email us and we will supply them in writing on request.

What we collect and why

  • Order information. Your name, delivery address, billing address, email address and phone number if you give one. We need this to take payment, send the parcel and deal with a return. Without it we cannot fulfil an order.
  • Account information. If you create an account, the email address and password you set. The password is stored hashed, which means we cannot read it and neither can anyone who obtained the database.
  • Payment information. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s own form and are processed by them. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Messages. Anything you send us by email or through the contact form, kept so we can answer you and refer back if you write again.
  • Technical information. Your IP address, browser and the pages you looked at, collected by the website software and used to keep the site working and secure.

Our legal basis

Order and payment data is processed to perform the contract you entered into when you bought something. Records we have to keep for tax purposes are processed to meet a legal obligation. Security logging and fraud prevention rest on our legitimate interest in running the shop safely. Marketing email, where we send it, rests on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the parties who need it to complete your order: the payment provider that takes the payment, the carrier that delivers the parcel, and the hosting and email providers that run this site. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years, because UK tax rules require it. Account details are kept until you ask us to close the account. Emails are kept while the matter is live and for a reasonable period after, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to a particular use, or ask for it in a portable format. Email admin@vszn.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site uses cookies to keep your basket contents between pages, to keep you logged in if you have an account, and to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the basket and checkout will not work properly without the essential ones.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page. Material changes affecting how we use existing data will be notified to account holders by email.
